Your lock,
your key, your goods.

Self-storage is a licence to use a space, not a warehouse taking charge of your things. That distinction decides who insures them — and most people assume wrongly until something happens.

What we have

Four kinds of space, month to month

You keep the key and you insure the contents. We are a storage facility, not a warehouse or a bailee.

How we work

A storage facility, not a warehouse

OHPC Pasadena LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, document number L22000379864, filed in 2022, operating under the Florida Self-Storage Facility Act.

The legal position matters and is often misunderstood. Renting a unit is a licence to use space — you keep your own lock and key and retain care, custody and control of what is inside. We do not take possession of your goods and we do not insure them; check whether your homeowner or renter policy extends to storage, because many do not. If rent goes unpaid we have a statutory lien and can eventually sell the contents, but only after the notices and time periods the Act requires.

Frequently asked

The questions we get most

Are my things insured?

Not by us. You keep care and control of your goods, so insuring them is yours. Check whether an existing homeowner or renter policy extends to items in storage — many do not, or cap it low.

What size do I need?

Come and stand in one. Almost everyone misjudges from a diagram, and five minutes here prevents either paying for empty space or a very bad moving day.

Do I need climate control?

For upholstery, timber furniture, electronics, photographs and paperwork in Florida, usually yes — humidity does the damage, not heat. For garden tools and plastic bins, usually not, and we will say so.

Can I run my business from the unit?

No. You can store stock, equipment and records and access them, but a unit cannot be used as a workplace, a workshop or a place where customers come. That is in the agreement.

What happens if I fall behind on rent?

We have a statutory lien under Florida law and access can be denied, with the contents eventually sold — but only after the notices and waiting periods the Act requires. Talk to us early; it is nearly always resolvable.

What can I not store?

Food and perishables, living creatures, fuel, flammables or explosives, firearms and ammunition, hazardous or illegal materials, and anything likely to cause odour or attract pests.

Need space?

Come and look at a unit before deciding. Nobody judges size well from a diagram.
